Tribute Meeting for Late Chief Ozo Chiedu Idezuna, Ezemuo Afrika, Slated for November 30th in Lagos

The final rites for the renowned tourist mogul and convener of the Ekoonibaje New Yam & Beach Festival, Late Chief Ozo Chiedu Idezuna, also known as Ezemuo Afrika, will commence with a Lagos Day of Tribute on November 30th, 2024. The tribute will take place at the Ekoonibaje Kingdom, Elesekan, in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State, starting at 12 p.m.

This was confirmed during a meeting held at the Kingdom on 9th October, 2024 where well-wishers gathered and reached a consensus on the event. A 7-man committee has been established to oversee preparations, which include chair and canopy rentals, sound system arrangements, and customized t-shirts, among other essentials.

The financial support needed for the funeral arrangements is now open, with friends, family, business associates, and well-wishers invited to contribute toward the successful planning, including travel to UKE Kingdom for the final burial rites scheduled for January 7th and 8th, 2025.
