At the IWE AKWA, also known as the IBA Ogbo Festival, the vibrant celebration comes to life with the grand procession of EZEMMUO’s entourage, showcasing the captivating Mgbadike Isingwu Masquerade. This triannual festival, held on August 3rd, 2024, in Ugbo Okpala, Agwu Local Government Area of Enugu State, offers a unique glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the Igbos.
As we look back on this iconic event, we gear up for the Eko New Yam Festival 2024, themed “Festival of Food, Agriculture, and Friendship.” Set to take place on September 28th, this festival will be part of the World Tourism Day celebrations from September 27th to 29th, 2024.
Powered by Castledown Art Center, this celebration promotes peaceful co-existence among Nigeria’s diverse multi-ethnic nationalities through Art, Culture, Agro-Tourism, Sports, and Music.
Join us in celebrating the unity and richness of our cultural heritage as we embrace the spirit of tourism and friendship.
